Parker County American Legion Post 163 was chartered on March 20, 1920. Since then Post 163 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all veterans and military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble.
Come join our Legion family, the Legionnaires, Auxiliary Unit 163 and Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 163. Contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for member qualifications to join. We would love to have you visit us at our new Post home near locksmith lakewood. We hope to be open for business by March or April 2013. Until then our officers and members continue to meet in a portable building on the new site for meetings and other planning activities.
We again will sponsor dinners in our hall that will also be available for rentals, see the local paper or call the post at 817-594-4101 for details.
If you are a Veteran we can also help out with any VA questions and support through our Chaplain Chuck Katlic and County Service Officer John Hale at 817-598-6153 or Post Commander Bill Mallory at 817-596-8326. Like us on facebook: americanlegionpost163.
Please come by for a visit and learn what the American Legion has to offer and ask about the many benefits provided by being a American Legion member.
